How to Make AI Influencer Videos on Your Phone

HexUGC runs in a mobile browser with nothing to install, and the render happens on our servers rather than on your handset. Here is the whole flow from a phone, and where it gets awkward.

HexUGC is an AI influencer generator: you design one reusable character, then generate short-form 9:16 talking-to-camera videos of it. It runs in a browser, so a phone is a supported way to use it rather than a compromise. There is nothing to install from the App Store or Play Store, and the generation runs on our servers rather than on your handset, so the phone is only ever the remote control.

Nothing to install, and nothing to sideload

Open the site in Safari or Chrome on the phone and sign in with a magic link sent to your email. There is no password to type on a phone keyboard and no app review queue between a new feature and you. Add the page to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.

The output is vertical by default. Every still is 9:16, every video is 9:16, and the export is a native portrait MP4, so nothing has to be reframed after the fact on a small screen.

Your phone is not doing the work

Everything heavy happens server side: the script, the voiceover, the scene still, the lip-sync pass and the final stitch. You press generate and the request is queued. Lock the phone, switch to another app, or close the tab entirely. The job carries on without you.

The History screen shows which step a project is on and refreshes roughly every ten seconds while you watch it, so coming back to the tab after a few minutes shows you the current state rather than a stale one. If a step fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically.

One honest gap: nothing pings you when a video is ready. There is no push notification and no email on completion, so finishing means opening History and looking.

Motion reference is the step a phone is actually better at

The most phone-native part of the flow is handing the system a clip to copy the motion from. Open TikTok, copy the link to a video whose movement you like, paste it in, and your character performs that motion while keeping its own face and its own pose. You can also upload a clip straight from your camera roll instead. The mechanics are covered in turning a TikTok into an AI avatar ad.

Typing is the part that is worse on a phone

Writing a 30 second script with two thumbs is nobody's idea of fun. The wizard takes a one-line creator direction instead and drafts the script for you, which you then edit rather than compose. That turns a paragraph of typing into a sentence of typing and a few corrections.

Spoken length is estimated from the words at roughly 2.5 words a second, with a scene floored at 3 seconds and capped at 60, so you can tell from the script roughly how long the clip will run. More on what to write is in how to write the script for an AI influencer video.

Getting the file into your camera roll

The project page has a download button that saves the finished MP4 rather than opening it in a tab. On an iPhone it lands in Files, and you save it to Photos from there before TikTok or Instagram can see it in your gallery. On Android it goes to Downloads, which the gallery usually picks up on its own. Captions are already burned into the file, so there is no second editing pass.

What this does not do

There is no native app, which means no offline use, no share-sheet target and no background notification. It is a website that happens to work well on a phone.

The character board is a wide sheet showing your person from four angles, so reviewing it properly on a phone means pinching in. It is the one screen genuinely nicer on a laptop.

There is no publishing or scheduling to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, so you download and post yourself. Videos generate one at a time, with multi-variant generation on our roadmap rather than shipped.

What it costs

Your first character board is free, one per account, no credits and no card, bounded by a daily cap we fund. Videos are not free. A 10 second voiced video is 28 credits, the first video is $5 for 50 credits, and Starter at $15 a month is 300 credits, roughly 10 videos. The full split between the free and paid steps is in is there a free AI influencer generator.

Try it on the device you will post from

If you post from your phone, build on your phone. The only thing you will want a bigger screen for is judging the character sheet.
